Green Manual Therapy

In my practice, Green Manual Therapy, I specialize in helping people in pain. I have advanced training in Visceral Manipulation, CrainioSacral, Mechanical Link, and Lymph Drainage. My mission is to assist all who want to be free of pain to be so. What sets me apart from other health practitioners is that I do an evaluation to find the "source" of the pain using the Inhibitory Balance technique developed by French Osteopath Paul Chauffour. This technique enables me to objectively find the "source" of the pain. I get excellent results with people who have had physical trauma such as auto accidents, falls,and sports injuries. My therapy is gentle and in most cases a pleasure to receive. I also get excellent results from treating people who have multiple migraines per month, TMJ, back and neck pain, vertigo, fibromyalgia, arthritis, foot pain/Plantar Fascitis, and other painful conditions.

-- John Green---------------------------- John N. Green became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in 1993. He trained with St. John Neuromuscular Therapy Pain Relief Institute and interned with the Raleigh Back Care Center in North Carolina. John began taking Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral, and Lymph Drainage classes through the Upledger Institute in 1994. John is a teaching assistant for the Upledger and Barral Institutes based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Manual Therapy is a gentle therapy that encourages the balance of tensions in all systems of the body. John Green is trained to feel the body for restrictions. A restriction is defined as something in the body that should move freely but does not. The body is in perpetual movement at all times. Even when we are still, we have many internal rhythms. There are the obvious rhythms of the pulse and the breath, but there are many others as well, including the rhythm and movement of the digestive organs, the pumping of the lymphatic fluids, and the rhythmic pumping of the cerebrospinal fluid as it bathes the brain and spinal cord. Any disruption of these rhythms can cause impairment in the body's ability to function and adversely affect health and well being. What to expect. For a manual therapy session, you lie fully-clothed on a comfortably padded therapy table. Manual Therapy treatments are most often deeply relaxing and should not cause additional pain. If you are uncomfortable in any way during a session, adjustments will be made to better meet your needs. You should tell the therapist about your health concerns and of your expectations for your manual therapy session. An initial evaluation encompasses the whole body to find the source of the pain, which may be caused by a source of any significant trauma, such as physical trauma, severe illness, surgery, invasive dental work, recent or old, and childhood trauma and/or injuries. Green’s evaluation uses a gentle palpation on the body to determine where the restrictions reside. Green will then determine which restrictions are primary by using a technique called inhibitory balancing. On testing, one restriction will release and the other will remain blocked. The restrictions that do not release are the primary blockages. Green continues to stay current with the latest information and workshops in the semodalities of specialization and is requested to assist with the workshop presentations.
